Operations & Licensing Executive (12-Month Contract)

Job Overview

We are looking for proactive and motivated individuals to support maritime licensing, regulatory administration, policy implementation, operational processes, and industry development initiatives.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to regulatory operations, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, and industry transformation projects within Singapore's maritime sector. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Licensing & Regulatory Administration

• Process and administer licensing applications, renewals, permits, and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with operational, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the review and enhancement of licensing processes and policies.
• Maintain accurate licensing records and databases.

Operations & Service Delivery

• Handle enquiries from customers and stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
• Support operational processes to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on operational matters.
• Monitor and follow up on applications, submissions, and case requests.

Process Improvement & Digitalisation

• Support projects aimed at improving and digitalising customer-facing processes.
• Review workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Assist in implementing operational and system enhancements.

Industry Development & Stakeholder Engagement

• Support initiatives related to workforce development and industry transformation.
• Engage stakeholders to gather feedback and understand operational challenges.
• Assist in planning and coordinating outreach, engagement, and policy-related activities.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyse operational and industry-related data to identify trends and insights.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and management updates.
• Support policy reviews and operational decision-making through data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in administration, operations, customer service, compliance, licensing, policy support, or project coordination will be advantageous.
