Senior Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SeniorBartender to oversee bar operations, prepare and serve beverages, and deliveran exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledgeof drinks, wines, and cocktails, and be confident in leading bar servicestandards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure quality and consistency
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the bar area to meet health and safety standards
• Oversee daily bar operations to ensure smooth service flow and maximize guest satisfaction
• Manage bar stock by controlling inventory, supporting ordering processes, and ensuring proper storage of beverages
• Recommend drinks, wines, and cocktails tailored to guest preferences to enhance their experience
• Support the creation and promotion of bar specials, seasonal drinks, and cocktail menus to attract and retain customers
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service regulations to maintain legal and safety standards
• Assist with opening and closing duties to prepare the bar for service and secure it after hours
• Guide and support junior bartenders in maintaining service standards and efficient bar operations

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of drinks, wines, and cocktails
• Prior experience as a bartender, preferably in a senior or supervisory role
• Passion for bar operations and mixology
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and team members
• Pleasant personality with a strong customer service attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
