A fortune 500 firm is looking for a Technologist (Dairy) (6 months contract)

Your new role

• Product Development & Innovation
• Conduct product development work in laboratory and pilot plant environments, with a primary focus on dairy and beverage applications.
• Support formulation development, process optimization, troubleshooting, and application testing.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and project activities.
• Prepare technical reports and application documentation.

• Technical & Commercial Support
• Provide technical support to Marketing, Technical Service, Sales, and Operations teams.
• Assist with customer projects by developing and evaluating application prototypes.
• Support technical presentations, seminars, and training activities.
• Help troubleshoot formulation and processing challenges.

• Laboratory & Pilot Plant Management
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe laboratory environment
• Manage laboratory ingredients, materials, equipment, and samples to ensure availability and proper storage.
• Organize and maintain the ingredient library, ensuring ingredients are properly labeled, stored, tracked, and readily available for project work.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic upkeep of laboratory and pilot plant equipment.
• Comply with all Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Participate actively in safety initiatives and support continuous improvement of workplace safety standards.

What you'll need to succeed

Your previous experience in a similar role will lead to your success, as you will ideally have:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in food product development, applications, or food manufacturing.
