An investment firm is looking for a Senior Data Engineer/ Platform engineering Lead to join their team.

Your new role

As a Senior Data Engineer/ Platform engineering lead, you will be responsible for:

• Own the architecture and design of the performance, risk, and analytics data platform.
• Build and manage automated data pipelines with strong governance and quality controls.
• Lead end-to-end implementation and delivery of the risk management platform.
• Oversee production support, platform operations, releases, and vendor management.
• Partner with investment stakeholders, translating technical requirements into business solutions.

What you’ll need to succeed

• 5+ years' experience in data engineering or technology within financial services.
• Degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Information Systems.
• Experience implementing or supporting risk management or portfolio analytics platforms.
• Strong expertise in financial data models, data warehouses, and automated ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Good understanding of investment data, financial instruments, and platforms like BlackRock Aladdin.
• Self-driven team player with excellent stakeholder management and vendor communication skills.
