Design Engineer cum Drafter

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage projects assigned by the Design Manager.
• Plan and execute projects to meet deadlines.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Attend client meetings to resolve technical issues, review shop drawings, and discuss project progress.
• Review and study construction drawings and specifications.
• Raise Requests for Information (RFIs) for any project-related clarifications.
• Prepare design calculations, shop drawings, and submit them for client approval.
• Issue production drawings to the manufacturing team and ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal departments for design-related activities and shop drawing coordination.
• Maintain and update drawing files, making corrections when necessary.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by the Design Manager.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Professional certification or degree in Civil Engineering or related fields.
• Preferred qualifications include a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or higher education in Engineering.
• Strong background in civil engineering or precast systems.
