Facilities Manager

Job Description:

• Lead and manage engineers, supervisors, technicians, and contractors.
• Oversee daily facilities operations, maintenance, and asset performance.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance works are carried out effectively and safely.
• Develop and coach team members to enhance technical competency and service quality.
• Build strong relationships with clients, building owners, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, project costs, service contracts, and contractor performance.
• Review and approve tenders, technical specifications, and payment certifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and contractual KPIs.
• Drive operational improvements, asset enhancement projects, and service excellence initiatives.
• Prepare operational, financial, and management reports.
  

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Diploma holders with substantial relevant experience are welcome to apply.
• Minimum 5 years of facilities management experience for Degree holders, or 10 years for Diploma holders.
• Proven experience managing building operations, maintenance programs, and technical teams.
• Healthcare facilities management experience is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Excellent planning, budgeting, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and on a 5.5-day work week.
