Communications Intern (6 Months contract)

Whether you’re on a gap year, taking a semester off, studying part-time, or a fresh student/grad with strong design passion—we want you! No prior full-time work experience needed; we value creative drive, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.

🌟 What You’ll Get to Experience

• Content & Design: Create eye-catchingvisuals, videos, and graphics using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut forIG, FB, and TikTok.
• Social Media & Analytics: Managecontent scheduling, community engagement, and performance tracking.
• Event Comms & Coverage: Capture live photos/videos, cover national event launches, and push live updates on-site. (Time-Off in Lieu provided for after-hours events)
• Brand & PR: Draft press releases, media kits, web copy, and publications (e.g., Annual Report).
• Portfolio & Network: Build a solid portfolio of real-world work while collaborating with senior leaders, Commissioners, and external stakeholders.

💡 Who We’re Looking For

• Self-Sought & Motivated: You are keen to learn, take initiative, pay attention to details, and enjoy bringing ideas from concept to completion.
• Creative & Digital-Savvy: Familiarity with design tools (Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign) and social media platforms.
• Good Communicator: Strong written and verbal skills in English.
• Open to All Backgrounds: Relevant course of study (Mass Comms, Marketing, Media, Graphic Design, Arts, etc.) OR a strong personal portfolio/passion for content creation. No formal full-time experience required!
• Must be able to fulfil Oct 2026 – Mar 2027entire duration.
