Formulate and manage the technology budget across regional securities operations to maintain alignment with core commercial objectives.
Design and implement technology expenditure monitoring systems to enforce fiscal targets, pinpoint cost-reduction areas, and maximize resource efficiency.
Oversee daily Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) workflows, alongside monthly financial accruals and reconciliations for the IT unit.
Generate financial projections, operational trend analyses, and management information (MI) reports for executive leaders and key decision-makers.
Coordinate with inter-entity departments to satisfy broader organizational financial reporting standards.
Administer inter-entity Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to guarantee structured cost-allocation for technology services across business arms.
Head internal financial process optimization initiatives within IT to improve work accuracy and overall operational throughput.
Partner with cross-functional business teams to craft internal communications and executive committee presentation materials.
Serve as the internal Project Management Office (PMO) lead to enforce structured project governance.
Maintain comprehensive vendor and contract records to reveal value-enhancement and expense-optimization avenues.
Direct hardware procurement operations for the IT function.
Skills and Requirements
Proven background in technology finance management, budget control, and expense optimization within financial institutions or corporate IT settings.
Hands-on expertise managing daily financial operations (AR/AP, reconciliations, accruals) and producing executive-level management reporting (MI).
Strong familiarity with inter-entity cost charging structures, SLAs, and cross-departmental financial governance.
Demonstrated experience leading operational process re-engineering and driving IT procurement or vendor administration.
Prior experience acting in an internal PMO capacity to govern tech initiatives and prepare executive communication materials.
Excellent cross-functional collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
