General Ledger Accountant (6-month)

About the job:

• Manage General Ledger journal postings and maintain updated GL reports

• Handle prepayment schedules, shareholders' reporting, and quarterly interfund settlements

• Perform GL account reconciliations to ensure accuracy

• Process and import JVs for regional and local entities, managing intercompany settlements, inward/outward entries, FX adjustments, and cash book records

• Compile necessary accrual schedules and receipt documentation

• Generate monthly and quarterly financial work schedules

• Manage and process payment schedules for MASNET charges

• Support the financial reporting team with MAS return submissions, including XFDF file preparation

• Undertake additional ad-hoc accounting tasks assigned by the reporting team

Skills and requirements:

• Prior experience handling general ledger, financial reconciliation, and reporting

• Familiarity with regulatory filing and MAS return processes is preferred

• Strong numerical accuracy and proficiency in managing schedules and settlements

• Ability to execute ad-hoc financial tasks and collaborate with reporting teams efficiently
