Our client, a renowned animation, film, and entertainment company specializing in IP and visual content licensing, product merchandising, and marketing across Southeast Asia, is seeking a Social Media Marketing Executive to develop and execute social media and promotional strategies for its IP portfolio across Asia.

【 Responsibilities 】

- Develop and execute promotional strategies for IP-related initiatives across Asian markets, including theatrical and digital distribution, merchandising, events, and other fan-facing activities.

- Plan, coordinate, and produce promotional assets, including key visuals, social media content, videos, and localized marketing materials.

- Coordinate localization and content approvals with the Japan office and relevant stakeholders.

- Manage and operate social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, and other relevant channels.

- Plan information releases, campaign launches, and day-to-day social media content.

- Develop engaging content to increase brand awareness, fan engagement, and support business initiatives.

- Plan and execute paid social media advertising, including audience targeting and performance monitoring.

- Coordinate promotional activities with local partners and external vendors across different markets.

- Monitor and analyze marketing KPIs, including reach, engagement, follower growth, and campaign performance.

- Prepare regular performance reports and provide recommendations for future promotional activities.

- Manage promotional budgets, monitor expenses, and coordinate with vendors to ensure effective allocation of marketing resources

【 Requirements & Preferences 】

- Bachelor’s degree in any field

- At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, and other relevant channels.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and other relevant Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

- Strong understanding of social media trends, content planning, and audience engagement.

- Knowledge and experience in social media advertising, including ad planning, audience targeting, and performance monitoring.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

- Fluent in English and Chinese, with strong written and verbal communication skills, as the role requires regular communication and coordination with Chinese-speaking stakeholders, partners, and audiences across Asian markets

(Advantage)

- Experience managing regional social media accounts across multiple Asian markets.

- Experience working with licensed IP or entertainment brands.

- Strong interest in entertainment, anime, film, gaming, pop culture, or IP-driven content.
