Accounts Executive/ Accountant

Job Responsibilities

• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
• Maintain full set of accounts, including fixed assets management.
• Prepare and submit monthly management and financial reports within tight deadlines.
• Handle GST quarterly reporting and ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with tax agents to ensure timely corporate tax submissions.
• Liaise with internal/ external auditors during financial/ MES audits.
• Perform ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in full set accounting.
• With MNC background will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and GST/tax regulations.
• Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Good communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict monthly closing deadlines
• Able to handle stress and deliver tasks within deadlines
• Conversational Japanese language skills to communicate with Japanese-speaking colleagues and HQ will be an advantage.
