The Company
Our client is a well-established player in the F&B and Hospitality scene in Singapore. As they continue to expand and grow their presence, they are seeking a Finance Manager to join their dynamic and vibrant organization.
The Role
Reporting directly to Finance Director, you will play a critical role in establishing and managing the financial operations of this newly launched venue. Working closely with senior leadership, you will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, controls, commercial analysis, and stakeholder management across multiple revenue streams including venue operations, event rentals, F&B outlets, retail tenancies, and sponsorship activities.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
- Prepare management reports, financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and statutory requirements.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury activities, and working capital requirements.
- Coordinate year-end audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
Commercial Finance & Business Partnering
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Partner with operational leaders across venue management, events, food & beverage, retail, and commercial leasing.
- Evaluate profitability across business lines and identify opportunities to improve margins and operational efficiency.
- Support pricing strategies, investment evaluations, and business case development.
Venue, Events & Leasing Finance
- Oversee financial controls relating to event revenues, venue rentals, sponsorship agreements, and concession income.
- Monitor lease accounting and reporting for retail and commercial tenants.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition for event and venue contracts.
- Support contract reviews from a financial and commercial perspective.
Controls & Process Improvement
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting capabilities.
- Develop policies and procedures suitable for a high-volume, fast-paced venue environment.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and corporate governance standards.
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop finance staff as the organization scales.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance function.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the General Manager and leadership team.
Your Profile
As a successful candidate, you will possess the following relevant skills sets and experience
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive finance experience.
- Prior experience in hospitality, entertainment, venue management, events, retail, commercial real estate, leisure, cinema, or mixed-use facilities will be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
- Experience managing multiple revenue streams and operational business units.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
