Material Planner

Job Description

• Monitor regular stocks and replenish when stocks reach a minimum order level
• Follow up on shipment tracking
• Issue blanket PO’s as per orders from local and overseas customers
• Ensure that all purchase orders are issued to the correct supplier with the correct date and quantity
• Follow up on all damaged or rejected merchandise,
• Input supplier delivery order goods, receive into system
• Update Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) dates of shipments into system by getting email acknowledgment from supplier for receipt of Purchase Orders
• Ensure incoming shipment documents are received from suppliers
• Ensure quantity in shipment invoices tally with quantity in physical count forms and file them together

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or a related Business field
2. Minimum 1 year of working experience in Material planning or Inventory control related
3. Basic knowledge of ERP systems
4. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
6. Good written and verbal communication skills
7. Team player
