Lounge Manager

Summary

The Lounge Manager is responsible for dnata’s lounges at Singapore Airport including, but not limited to, Terminal 1 Sky View Marhaba Lounge, Terminal 3 dnata Marhaba Lounge, Terminal 1 Premier Check-in Lounge, and VIP Services provided within the JetQuay Terminal / Lounge.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the overall running of the lounge operations to ensure consistent quality and service standards

• Maintain the departmental expenses within the approved budget and coordinate all expenses closely within the finance department
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure food safety and hygiene standards according to Hazard Analysis &Critical Control Points (HACCP) guidelines
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), training manuals and service guides to ensure team members uphold lounge service standards and embark on train-the-trainer sessions with Lounge Supervisors and Team Leaders
• Ensure submission of periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) accounting procedures and reports to internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
• Maintain and control lounge inventories (consumables and expendables)
• Control third party manning levels and associated costs for the lounge operation, ensuring productivity levels are maintained
• Implement new menu selection and products in line with the airline/airport lounge trends.
• Develop new product ideas in conjunction with the catering and product team.
• Ensure consistent variation for the products offered in the premium lounges
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 3 “O” levels and above
• 4 years of working experience in airport lounges or 4–5-star international hotels in food and beverage operations, Front Office, Concierge Service or Butler Service
• 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays.
