Temporary Procurement Executive (Education | West)

Contract Duration: 1 + 1 month contract
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Salary: S$3,300–S$3,400 per month

Job Purpose

Support the school’s end-to-end procurement activities while ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Work with the Deputy Head of Operations and Facilities Manager to improve procurement workflows, support digitalisation initiatives and manage tender-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing, quotation evaluation, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, inventory and invoice reconciliation.

• Evaluate suppliers based on pricing, quality, service and overall value.

• Monitor orders and deliveries and resolve procurement-related issues promptly.

• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms and contractual arrangements with vendors.

• Conduct supplier evaluations and due diligence to manage procurement risks.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare documentation for reporting and audits.

• Support tenders, workflow automation, data management and process-improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, internal users and external vendors.

• Ensure all activities comply with procurement, safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies.

• Support school events, initiatives and other duties as assigned.
  

Requirements

• Min. 3 years of procurement or purchasing experience in education / public sector is preferred

• Proficieny in Excel and AI tools.

• Strong administrative, analytical and organisational skills.

• Good data interpretation and problem-solving abilities.

• Comfortable working in a diverse school environment.
