Exam Markers (English / Chinese / Malay / Tamil)

Duration: 7 - 11 Dec 2026

Location: Buona Vista

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm

Responsibilities:

• Assess and score student responses to reading literacy assessment items according to provided scoring guides.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and fairness when applying scoring criteria.
• Review and interpret students' written responses carefully.
• Attend and participate in mandatory training and calibration sessions.

Requirements:
English Language Scorer

Candidates should possess a strong academic background in English Language, Literature, Humanities, or related disciplines.

Applicants should meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Grade B or above in General Paper, Knowledge & Inquiry, English Literature, Humanities, or equivalent subjects at GCE A Level, IB, or equivalent examinations;
• CAP/CGPA of 3.5 out of 5.0 or above for university undergraduates or graduates majoring in English Language, Literature, Humanities, or related disciplines;
• Grade A2 or above in English Language or Literature in English at GCE O Level or equivalent examinations.
  

Requirements (for mother tongue language):

• Both Alumni and Current undergraduate majoring in Chinese Language/Literature, Malay Language/Literature, or Tamil Language/Literature
• Obtained Grade C or higher for H2 Chinese Language & Literature, H2 Malay Language & Literature, or H2 Tamil Language & Literature
• Obtained Grade B or higher for H1 Chinese Language, H1 Malay Language, or H1 Tamil Language
• Obtained Grade B3 or higher for Higher Chinese, Higher Malay, or Higher Tamil
• Obtained Grade B4 or higher for Higher Chinese, Higher Malay, or Higher Tamil and Grade B3 or higher for Literature in the respective language
• Obtained Grade A2 or higher for Chinese Language, Malay Language, or Tamil Language at GCE O Level or equivalent examinations
