Senior Network Security Engineer/ Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer/Lead to drive the end-to-end engineering, deployment, and management of DMZ security services across the APAC region. The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting secure network infrastructure, serving as a technical escalation point, and providing technical guidance to engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, engineering, deployment, and lifecycle management of network security solutions.
• Implement and manage Firewalls (Fortinet, Check Point), IDS/IPS, Web Proxies (Bluecoat/McAfee), and Load Balancers.
• Ensure security controls, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards are incorporated into network security solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex network and web connectivity issues involving TCP/IP, HTTP/S, SSL, FTP, PAC files, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and information security teams to deliver infrastructure projects.
• Drive risk mitigation, operational excellence, capacity planning, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams across APAC.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in large-scale network and DMZ environments.
• Experience in banking or financial services environments will be an advantage.
• Strong expertise in Firewall, IDS/IPS, Web Content Filtering, and Load Balancing technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Check Point, Bluecoat, McAfee Proxy, and enterprise network security solutions.
• Strong knowledge of network security, protocols, and troubleshooting, including TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, FTP, and SOCKS.
• Experience with automation tools such as Python and Ansible.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, regulatory compliance, and enterprise IT environments.
• Relevant certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, Check Point, or Fortinet certifications will be an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
