Research Analyst, Regional BI & Planning (2027 Graduate)

About the Role:

The role sits within the wider Regional BI & Planning team. Our focus is on providing insights and analyses to support the leadership team in making sound decisions to develop our businesses – e-commerce and digital finance. We collaborate closely with Regional and Local teams on a variety of topics to achieve our mandate.

As a Research Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing data-driven insights in support of the team’s mandate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on various industries, including market analysis, competitive intelligence, and financial analysis.

• Data Collection: Gather relevant data from multiple sources, such as from internal teams, industry / company reports, databases, and primary research.

• Data Analysis: Derive meaningful insights from complex data sets and triangulation of multiple data sources

• Report Writing: Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings to senior stakeholders.

• Knowledge Management: Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge repositories.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Currently pursuing or has completed a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a reputable university with strong academic credentials. Candidates who are currently pursuing their Bachelor’s Degree should be expected to graduate by Dec 2026, and all candidates must be able to join us by Jan 2027.

• Candidates who meet the above requirements and are currently pursuing a Master’s Degree or above must be able to join us on a full-time basis by Jan 2027. A Master’s Degree or above is advantageous but not required.

• Prior experience in equity research, asset management, strategy consulting research, or in-house corporate development and strategy, internship or full-time.

• Experience in the consumer internet sector is a plus.

• Excellent research, data analysis and problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Highly driven and hard-working self-starter, focused on delivering high quality results with efficiency and speed
