1 Year Contract Therapy Assistant (Rehabilitation Department) *WEST* #HZTK

Location: Kent Ridge

Working Hours:

• Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
• Saturday: 1 Saturday every 3 weeks

Job Responsibilities

• Assist therapists in setting up patients on therapeutic equipment and preparing treatment areas.
• Assist therapists in supervising and supporting patients during therapeutic activities and exercises.
• Assist with the fabrication of orthoses and rehabilitation devices as required.
• Prepare, retrieve, file, and maintain patient records accurately.
• Coordinate the portering of patients to and from the rehabilitation department and assist with patient transport when required.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe therapy environment, including basic cleaning duties.
• Handle telephone calls and general enquiries, and accurately record and relay messages.
• Assist with maintaining inventory lists and conducting regular checks of therapy equipment, supplies, and forms.
• Perform basic administrative duties including photocopying, binding, filing, and document distribution.
• Perform basic data entry and retrieval using relevant computer systems and programmes.
• Support other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in any related field.
• Candidates with prior experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, therapy, patient service, or clinical support will be advantageous.
