Inventory Administrator (Data Entry)

About this job

To provide accurate and timely data entry and administrative support for store and warehouse operations, ensuring that all inventory transactions, stock movements and supporting documents are properly recorded and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

· Enter and update goods received, goods issued, stock transfers and return transactions in the ERP/system or inventory records.

· Maintain accurate records of stock quantities, item codes, descriptions and locations.

· Prepare and process Goods Received Notes (GRN), Delivery Orders (DO), Material Requisition Forms (MRF) and other store documentation.

· Check documents against physical goods received or issued and highlight discrepancies to the Store Manager.

· Update daily stock movement records and assist with monthly stock reports and inventory reconciliation.

· Maintain proper filing and document control for store records.

· Assist with stocktaking and cycle counts, including recording physical quantities and investigating discrepancies.

· Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Project/Site teams and suppliers regarding delivery and material documentation.

· Ensure data is entered accurately and within the required timeline.

· Assist in preparing stock ageing, slow-moving and shortage reports when required.

· Support general administrative duties within the store/warehouse.

· Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of company inventory and purchasing information.

· Perform other duties assigned by the Store Manager or Supply Chain Manager.

Requirements

· Fresh Graduate are welcome.

· Preferably 1–2 years of experience in data entry, warehouse/store administration or inventory-related work.

· Experience in a construction, engineering, warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.

· Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.

· Experience with ERP, inventory or warehouse management systems is an advantage.

· Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

· Able to organize documents and maintain proper records.

· Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with store and project personnel.

· Responsible, reliable and able to work independently.

· Willing to work in a warehouse/store environment and assist with stocktaking when required.



Working Location: Tuas (West Side)
Working Days: 5 days work week
