◆Title: Japanese Speaking Sales Executive - Electronics Industry

◆Role Overview:

Our client is an established company in the electronics and electrical components industry, serving B2B customers and distributors across international markets. This role covers both new business development and account management, with a balanced focus on hunting and farming. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, factories, R&D and internal stakeholders to support sales growth and customer satisfaction. Proficiency in Japanese is required for communicating with Japanese-speaking business counterparts.

◆Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new customers and distributors while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts, with an approximately 50:50 focus on hunting and farming.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through sales presentations, product demonstrations, exhibitions and other sales and marketing activities.
• Support the development of strategic and operational sales goals together with senior management.
• Collaborate with R&D personnel to enhance product presentations and communicate new product features enabled by technology developments.
• Coordinate with factories on production forecasts, product quality, delivery, engineering matters and pricing to support sales objectives.
• Respond promptly to customer enquiries, prepare quotations and provide after-sales support and services.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales activity and sales projection/forecast reports, as well as quarterly sales reports.
• Plan customer visits, subject to sales manager approval, to address customer issues and understand market conditions, expectations and feedback.
• Support planning and budgeting for exhibitions, tradeshows and advertising activities to contribute to brand development.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

◆Requirements:

[Must Have]

• At least 2 years of B2B sales experience handling flat cables, electronics or electrical components.
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese for communicating with Japanese-speaking business counterparts.
• Willingness and ability to travel overseas when required.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong business acumen and customer relationship management skills.
• Mature, self-disciplined and results-driven approach.

[Good to Have]

• Experience in both new business development and existing account management.
• Experience conducting product presentations, demonstrations or participating in exhibitions/tradeshows.
