Treasury (Investment Analyst), Senior Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct macroeconomic and microeconomic research and forecasts across Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
• Identify potential investment targets through deep-dive fundamental analysis
• Prepare accurate and timely reports on macroeconomic data and key economic/political events
• Support business units with research for client needs and internal requirements such as stress tests
• Identify new sectors and asset classes for investment
• Occasional business travel required

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of related experience in the banking industry
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to perform intermediate to advanced data/statistical analysis and econometric modeling
• Competency in creating financial models, cash flow and balance sheet analysis
• Familiarity with Excel macros and Bloomberg
• Strong report writing and data presentation skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior management
• Able to work under pressure in a team environment
