Job Summary

The Procurement Manager leads the alignment and execution of Sourcing and Supplier Management strategies within the GeoUnit Supply Chain, managing Sourcing and Supplier Managers to optimize procurement processes and compliance across a broad geographical area.

Responsibilities

• Implement common procurement and sourcing policies and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across the GeoUnit Supply Chain
• Act as the primary liaison with internal customers and stakeholders to align procurement activities with business needs
• Identify local sourcing opportunities and develop procurement strategies aligned with the GeoMarket plan to drive value and cost savings
• Analyze financial impacts such as purchase price and work order variances and collaborate with Category Managers to optimize resource allocation
• Review and resolve discrepancies in system records, invoices, and supplier nonconformance to maintain accurate procurement data and supplier performance
• Ensure compliance with Schlumberger-approved supplier agreements and contracts to mitigate risks and uphold contractual obligations
• Enforce trade compliance requirements to adhere to legal and regulatory standards
• Provide contracting and procurement support services to internal customers to facilitate smooth procurement operations
