Systems Architecture Director

ROLE:

Define the HW SW Systems & architecture, technologies, motors and platforms and product delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver End-to-end system architecture across hardware, software, motors and battery; interface contracts, nonnegotiable standards, system budgets (power, thermal, performance, safety) and architecture readiness gates.
• Deliver Reusable HW SW horizontal platforms (LIBERA wireless, IRIS vision, VECTOR motor drives), battery architecture and power electronics, and platform firmware (HAL, RTOS, security root-of-trust, OTA) delivered to a versioned SDK contract. Includes component engineering and supply resilience.
• HW SW Technology strategy & partnering — multi-year technology roadmap and IP strategy, advanced R&D labs for pre-product bets
• Enable AI/ML across the org – Enable AI/ML usage within the Architecture stack as ell as using AI/ML as a tool to improve productivity.
• Quarterly perform reviews with delivery teams

REQUIREMENTS:

• 12+ years of HW SW Architecture/product engineering experience
• Deep expertise in multiple platforms, motors, power electronics, embedded systems or systems architecture
• Proven record building reusable platforms and setting standards across a product portfolio
• In-depth experience in AI-ready software electronics hardware platforms, embedded firmware and platform software, power electronics and battery systems, high speed motors and controls, systems architecture and integration, cyber-security and hardware trust, semiconductor and component strategy, simulation, verification and digital engineering
