Job Summary
Serve as a WWR System Engineer responsible for the technical engineering, design, coordination, construction support and commissioning of Wastewater Reclamation and Reuse (WWR) systems for semiconductor Front-End FAB facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- WWR System Design
Plan and design Front-End FAB WWR systems, including capacity, water quality, recovery rate, treatment processes, equipment, piping and layout. - Wastewater Reclamation Design
Evaluate different process wastewater streams and develop appropriate segregation, collection, treatment and reuse strategies. - Treatment Process & Equipment
Support the selection and integration of UF, RO, membrane, filtration and other water reclamation equipment. - Engineering Documentation
Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, data sheets, equipment specifications, calculations and Vendor documents. - Multidisciplinary Interface Coordination
Coordinate WWR interfaces with UPW, WWT, Process, Drainage, Chemical, Facilities, Electrical and I&C systems. - Vendor & Technical Coordination
Support technical specifications, Technical Bid Evaluation, Vendor Data Review and technical clarifications. - Construction & Site Support
Support RFIs, design changes, equipment and piping installation, system interfaces and technical issues during construction. - Testing & Commissioning
Support WWR system testing, flushing, commissioning, performance testing and reclaimed-water quality verification. - System Performance Optimization
Monitor system capacity, recovery rate, water quality, reliability and operational stability, and support continuous system optimization.
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil / Water Resources Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in WWR, WWT, wastewater treatment or water reclamation projects; semiconductor FAB or high-tech facility experience is preferred.
- Experience in water/wastewater system design, equipment selection, piping and engineering coordination.
- Able to read and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, engineering drawings, layouts, isometrics and technical documents.
- Familiar with UF, RO, membrane, filtration and related water treatment processes.
- Experience in Vendor coordination, technical document review and resolving engineering or site issues.
- Experience in system testing, commissioning and performance verification is an advantage.
- Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with Clients, contractors, Vendors and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Good command of English; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
- Willing to work in a site-based environment, including shifts or extended hours as required by the project.
- Relevant qualifications and licences must comply with applicable Singapore laws and regulatory requirements.
Working Location: Woodlands North, Singapore
Employment Type: Contract (36 months)
