WWR System Lead Engineer

Job Summary
Responsible for the engineering, technical coordination, construction, testing and commissioning of Wastewater Reclamation and Reuse (WWR) systems for semiconductor FAB projects. Ensure system capacity, water quality, reliability and performance meet project and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- WWR System Design
Lead the design of Front-End FAB WWR systems, including treatment capacity, recovery rate, process, equipment, piping and layout. - Water Reclamation Design
Develop wastewater reclamation and reuse solutions based on process wastewater characteristics and reclaimed water quality requirements. - WWR Treatment Systems
Lead the technical selection and integration of UF, RO, membrane, filtration and other water reclamation systems. - Engineering Documentation
Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, data sheets, equipment specifications, calculations and related design documents. - Multidisciplinary Interface Coordination
Coordinate WWR interfaces with UPW, WWT, Process, Drainage, Chemical, Facilities, Electrical and I&C systems. - Vendor & Technical Document Coordination
Support technical specifications, Vendor Data Review, technical bid evaluations, clarifications and related document reviews. - Construction & Site Support
Handle RFIs, design changes, equipment and piping installation, and technical issues during construction. - Testing & Commissioning
Lead or support WWR testing, flushing, commissioning, performance testing and reclaimed water quality verification. - Project Progress & Technical Issues
Monitor engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning progress, and support timely resolution of technical and interface issues. - Technical Coordination
Coordinate with Clients, design and construction teams, Vendors and relevant disciplines throughout EPCK execution.
Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Civil / Water Resources Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in WWR, WWT, wastewater treatment or water reclamation projects; semiconductor FAB or high-tech facility experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in WWR system engineering, site construction coordination, equipment installation and subcontractor supervision.
- Able to read and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, engineering drawings, layouts, isometrics and technical documents.
- Familiar with wastewater treatment and water reclamation processes, including UF, RO, membrane and filtration systems.
- Experience in Vendor coordination, technical document review, RFI management and resolving site engineering issues.
- Experience in system testing, commissioning and performance verification is preferred.
