Senior cook

Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for a cook who can prepare North Indian and South Indian dishes.

• Setting up of workstation with all necessary cookware
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
• Cook food in various utensils or grillers
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Quality check of all ingredients
• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
• Maintain kitchen in sanitised condition

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a cook in preparing North Indian and South Indian dishes
• Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Efficient and must be a good team player
