About the role

Basel Medical Group Pte Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Assistant to join our team at our Holland Road Central Region clinic. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work within the natural therapies and alternative medicine sector. As a Clinic Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our clinic, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and service from the moment they arrive. This position is central to creating a welcoming, organised and professional environment that reflects our commitment to holistic health and patient wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting patients upon arrival and maintaining a warm, professional reception area atmosphere

• Managing appointment scheduling and patient bookings using clinic management systems

• Handling administrative tasks including patient registration, medical history documentation and consent form processing

• Processing payments and managing clinic finances with accuracy and confidentiality

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the clinic facility, including treatment rooms and waiting areas

• Restocking supplies and managing inventory of clinical and office materials

• Assisting practitioners with patient preparation and basic clinic support during treatments

• Responding to patient enquiries via phone, whatsapp, email and in person with professionalism and empathy

• Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to data protection regulations

• Supporting the clinic team with general administrative duties as required

What we're looking for

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients and staff

• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proficiency with computer systems and familiarity with clinic management software or similar administrative tools (desirable)

• A genuine interest in natural therapies, alternative medicine and holistic health practices

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and understand the importance of data protection

• Reliable, punctual and committed to providing consistent high-quality service

• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a dynamic healthcare environment

• Previous experience in a clinic, healthcare or customer service setting is advantageous but not essential

• A warm, approachable personality and genuine desire to support patient wellbeing
