Sales Engineer $4.2K - $4.8K + VB up to 2.5 months + AWS / Comm + Transport Allowance / West Area (Marine & Oil / Gas)

Key Duties

• Identify, prospect and win new accounts across the Marine, Offshore and Oil & Gas sectors — shipyards, vessel owners and operators, rig and offshore support companies, marine workshops and industrial end users
• Drive the full sales cycle: lead generation, site visits, technical consultation, quotation, negotiation and closing
• Understand customer applications and recommend suitable solutions
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline to consistently meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
• Work closely with the service, workshop and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery and installation
• Follow up on invoicing and collections to keep accounts within agreed payment terms
• Maintain and grow working relationships with existing key accounts to secure repeat business
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing, and feed insights back to management
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts and activity updates

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience within a relevant Industrial, Marine, Offshore or Oil & Gas Trade
• Experience with hydraulic hoses or fluid connectors is an advantage but not essential
• Proven track record of opening new accounts
• Willing to travel overseas occasionally as required by customer base
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working independently
