Sales Associate

Job Description

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, achieving individual sales targets and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the store.

This is a customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys selling, developing product knowledge and building long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers
• Achieve individual sales targets
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
• Develop product and brand knowledge
• Build relationships with regular customers
• Support CRM and customer follow-up activities
• Maintain high standards of customer service
• Maintain store cleanliness, presentation and Visual Merchandising standards
• Replenish merchandise and support stock management
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory control
• Support promotional events and product launches
• Follow Company procedures and department-store requirements
• Work collaboratively with Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Senior Sales Associates
• Perform other reasonable operational duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Retail sales experience preferred; strong entry-level candidates may also be considered
• Interest in fashion, sports, lifestyle or premium retail
• Customer-oriented and comfortable interacting with different types of customers
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Willingness to learn
• Good communication skills
• Team player
• Reliable, organised and responsible
• Able to work independently after training
• Able to work weekends and public holidays according to roster requirements
• Fluent English; Mandarin or another relevant language is an advantage
  
  Diploma in Retail, Business or a related discipline is an advantage, but not essential. Relevant retail experience and demonstrated leadership capability will be given greater consideration.
