About the role

Responsible for maintaining product and process quality, investigating quality issues and supporting the ISO 9001 Quality Management System. The role works with relevant departments to implement corrective actions, improve quality controls and ensure products meet drawings, specifications and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main person responsiblefor maintaining and continually improving the ISO 9001 Quality ManagementSystem.
• Ensure that quality processes, procedures and records comply with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Plan and coordinate internal and external ISO 9001 audits.
• Prepare audit schedules, documents and records required for ISO 9001 audits.
• Coordinate with relevant departmentsand external auditors during audits.
• Follow up on audit findings, non-conformities and corrective actions to ensure timely closure.
• Support management review meetings and prepares the required quality data and reports.
• Manage quality assurance activities for the manufacture of products, including ball screws and linear guideways.
• Review and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, inspection standards and related documents.
• Monitor inspection results, product quality trends and quality performance indicators.
• Review non-conforming products and coordinate containment and follow-up actions.
• Investigate product defects, internal quality issues and customer complaints.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Prepare and review quality reports, non-conformance reports, corrective-action reports and failure analysisreports.
• Review inspection methods and provide technical guidance to QA Inspectors.
• Support the control, calibration andproper use of measuring equipment.
• Work with Production, Sales and otherrelevant departments to resolve quality issues and meet customer requirements.
• Recommend improvements tomanufacturing processes, inspection methods and quality controls.
• Maintain accurate quality records andensure proper document control and traceability.
• Perform other quality-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline

• At least 2 years of relevant QA/QC experience in a manufacturing or precision-engineering environment

• Experience in maintaining an ISO 9001 Quality Management System and coordinating audits

• Experience in investigating product defects, non-conformities or customer complaints

• Experience in root-cause analysis and corrective-action implementation

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and tolerances

• Knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methods, such as root-cause analysis, 5 Why, fishbone analysis and corrective and preventive action

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good attention to detail and accuracy
