Job Scope
1. Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in project logistics, heavy-lift, breakbulk, out-of-gauge (OOG), and industrial project cargo sectors.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and targets.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into long-term customers.
- Expand the company's customer base across industries such as Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Vessel mob / Demob and ship's repair.
- Conduct customer visits, presentations, and networking activities.
2. Project Tendering & Solution Development
- Analyze customer requirements and provide customized logistics solutions.
- Prepare RFQs, tenders, and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, and transport teams to develop competitive project logistics solutions.
- Conduct route surveys and feasibility assessments when required.
- Develop pricing strategies and cost estimates for project cargo movements.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Manage contract negotiations and service agreements.
4. Market Intelligence& Strategic Planning
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Identify emerging opportunities in project logistics sectors.
- Develop market penetration and account development strategies.
- Provide regular market intelligence reports to management.
5. Project Coordination
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth execution of awarded projects.
- Support project kick-off meetings and customer communications.
- Ensure customer expectations and service requirements are clearly communicated to operational teams.
- Monitor project milestones and customer feedback.
6. Financial Management
- Ensure profitable business growth by achieving sales and margin targets.
- Monitor project revenue forecasts and sales pipelines.
- Support budget planning and forecasting activities.
- Follow up on invoicing and payment collections when necessary.
7. Networking & Industry Representation
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
- Develop relationships with ships’ owners, EPC contractors, oil operators and project owners.
- Enhance the company's market presence and brand recognition.
Requirement
- Strong knowledge of project logistics, heavy-lift, breakbulk, and multimodal transportation.
- 3-5 years of experience in project logistics, or supply chain management.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of international freight forwarding and customs procedures.
- Ability to develop logistics solutions for complex cargo movements.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
