Factory Manager – Food Manufacturing

Salary: $7,500 + Variable Bonus
Location: Tuas
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm

We are looking for an experienced Factory Manager to lead overall production, warehouse and factory operations within a food manufacturing environment.

You will be responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining high food safety and quality standards, optimising manpower and equipment, and ensuring production and delivery targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily factory and production operations to achieve productivity, quality and delivery targets.

• Manage production schedules based on sales forecasts and customer requirements.

• Optimise production processes, manpower and equipment utilisation.

• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, storage and dispatch.

• Ensure accurate management of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.

• Drive improvements in inventory systems, barcoding, scanning and WMS.

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, freight scheduling and deliveries.

• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, food safety and workplace safety standards.

• Work closely with R&D on new product trials and production scale-up.

• Identify opportunities to reduce wastage, stock discrepancies and operational bottlenecks.

• Lead and develop production, warehouse and forklift teams.

• Prepare operational and production reports and monitor cost efficiency.

• Work closely with Procurement, Finance, Sales and Logistics to ensure smooth operations.

• Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives across the factory.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Food Science, Manufacturing or a related discipline.

• 5–8 years of experience in food manufacturing or production operations.

• Strong experience working in a plant/factory environment.

• Good knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety requirements.

• Able to take ownership of end-to-end factory, production and warehouse operations
