Fullstack Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable and high-performance web applications.

• Take ownership of end-to-end development across frontend, backend and cloud environments.

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern frontend technologies.

• Build reliable backend services and APIs.

• Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to ensure software quality and smooth releases.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support cloud deployments.

• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot technical issues.

• Implement application and API security best practices, including authentication and access control.

• Write automated tests and maintain good software quality and coding standards.

• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve application performance and development efficiency.

• Work in an Agile and DevOps environment.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Strong experience in both frontend and backend development.

• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue.js or Angular.

• Experience with backend development using Node.js, Java, Python, Go, Ruby or similar technologies.

• Good understanding of RESTful APIs and service integration.

• Experience with Git and modern software development practices.

• Experience with automated testing and debugging.

• Understanding of application security and secure development practices.

• Experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms and container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.

• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

• Able to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or similar cloud platforms.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Prometheus or OpenTelemetry.

• Experience with mobile application development using Swift, Kotlin or React Native.

• Experience with low-code platforms such as OutSystems or Mendix.

• Knowledge of microservices, micro-frontends or edge computing.
