Job Summary

You will prepare cost estimates and budgets, analyze project documents, manage tendering, and monitor project costs to ensure financial control and regulatory compliance throughout construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities to support project financial planning
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify requirements and risks
• Manage the tendering process by evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotes to select cost-effective options
• Track project costs and monitor variations to maintain financial control throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Liaise with project managers, site teams, and procurement to coordinate progress and cost tracking
• Ensure compliance with relevant building and safety regulations to uphold project standards

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Some industry experience is ideal to effectively understand construction project requirements
• Strong attention to detail and numerical skills to accurately manage project costs and documentation
• Willingness to learn and grow within a team environment to support continuous improvement
• Good communication and organization skills to facilitate collaboration and project coordination
