Module Associate Engineer (Photolithography) - GRIT Traineeship

Individual co-works with Equiment Engineer , Process Engineer and reports to Equipment Section Manager. He/She is responsible on handling on-duty task, keeping tool performance, perform tool preventive maintenance and conduct fundamental troubleshooting for tool alarms. In addition, He/She will work under rotating shifts in a 24/7 fab enviroment.

Individual key responsibilities:

1. Equipment maintenance: preventive maintenance (PM), chamber cleaning, parts replacement and calibration

2. Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment failures involving RF/plasma, vacuum, gas delivery/MFC, pumps & valves, sensors etc.

3. Root Cause finding: Identify why failures occur and implement corrective actions

4. Equipment improvement: improve uptime, MTBF, MTTR, equipment avaiability and cycle time

5. Qualification: Verify equipment performance after PM/repair before releasing it back to production

6. Cross-functional work: Work closely with Process Engineers and tool vendors.

Requirement

1. Understand Etch equipment technical knowledge including LAM,Applied Materials, TEL, AMEC, Mattson Ashers etc.

2. Apply 5 Why / Fishbone / FMEA for tool troubleshooting

3. Improve tool uptime by understanding equipment data such as FDC, SPC and trend analysis

4. Grasp semiconductor process understanding by getting how equipment affects process capabilities

5. Learn on how to be competent in engineering and people by enhancing problem solving skills, communication skills and teamworking.
