Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Industrial Maintenance Platform)

About the Role

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will build the next generation of Hioki’s industrial maintenance software platform across across web, mobile and backend systems. You will own features end-to-end and use an AI-native development approach to rapidly turn product requirements into reliable production software.

This role is based in Singapore and works closely with teams in Singapore and Japan. If you want to build products where hardware, software, data and real-world engineering come together, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop product features across frontend and backend.
• Build asset, work-order and maintenance workflows.
• Develop dashboards, reporting and data-management features.
• Design APIs, databases and application architecture.
• Build mobile and offline-capable workflows.
• Integrate measurement, IoT and third-party data.
• Maintain automated tests and production quality.
• Use AI coding agents extensively for development, testing, debugging and documentation.
• Own the test strategy and quality bar for safety-adjacent industrial software, including automated coverage and regression safeguards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong TypeScript and React experience.
• Backend development experience, preferably Node.js.
• Strong SQL and database-design skills.
• Experience building production SaaS or workflow applications.
• Strong ownership and product-thinking skills.
• Comfortable using AI coding agents and AI-assisted development workflows.
• UI/UX design & storyboard experience.
