About the Role

IPOS International is seeking a Senior Executive, Communications and Engagement to drive engagement with enterprises and the broader innovation ecosystem with strategic communications. The role will shape narratives, develop engagement platforms, and deliver integrated communications operations that highlight intellectual property (IP) as a driver of enterprise growth.

Based in the Communications and Engagement Department, the role will work with internal teams and ecosystem partners to promote the adoption of IP strategies and strengthen Singapore’s positioning as a Global IP Hub under the Singapore IP Strategy 2030 (SIPS 2030).

Key Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Outreach and Ecosystem Engagement

• Build strong relationships with enterprises, industry associations, and ecosystem partners to foster a vibrant and collaborative innovation community. This is achieved through the planning and execution of strategic outreach and engagement events.
• Conceptualise, design and implement programmes that help innovative enterprises and creators use intangible assets to grow, to build IP knowledge and strengthen the innovation ecosystem. This typically involves close collaboration with internal departments and external partners.
• Support IPOS’ annual flagship efforts such as IP Week and other major innovation ecosystem events by contributing to programme design and operational coordination.
• Contribute to departmental and organisational priorities through the execution of projects, initiatives, and ad hoc assignments, and provide support for other responsibilities as required by the department and/or IPOS.

2. Narrative and Strategic Communications

• Identify opportunities to showcase enterprise innovation and IP success stories across media, digital, content and engagement channels.
• Develop engaging narratives that translate complex IP, innovation and policy topics into clear, accessible content for enterprise audiences.
• Support the creation of high-quality storytelling content, including enterprise case studies, articles, videos and thought leadership pieces.
• Work with internal stakeholders and communication partners to ensure consistency in messaging and brand positioning across channels.

Requirements

• At least 2 -3 years of experience in communications, enterprise engagement, or ecosystem development.
• Strong strategic communications and storytelling capabilities.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders, industry partners, and ecosystem players.
• Strong programme management and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with innovation ecosystems, enterprise growth journeys, or IP is advantageous.
• Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related fields.
