About the Human Capital Department
The Human Capital Department partners the organisation to attract, develop and retain talent in support of IPOS’ organisational goals. The team oversees the full spectrum of human capital functions, including talent attraction,development, engagement, performance management and organisational capability building, to build and sustain a high-performing workforce.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a proactive and meticulousindividual to join the Human Capital Department. Reporting to the Senior Assistant Director, you will provide operational and project support across Learning & Development, HR systems, HR operations and other Human Capital initiatives.
- Support the planning,coordination and implementation of Learning & Development initiatives,including training programmes, course administration, training sponsorship matters, learning records and other capability development activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely employee data in Workday, including the entry and updating of new hire andexisting employee information and conduct checks to support data accuracy andintegrity.
- Support the review, testing and implementation of Workday enhancements and Change Requests, including analysing their feasibility, relevance and potential value to IPOS, and follow through onapproved changes where required.
- Provide operational support for HR processes and employee lifecycle matters, including onboarding, employee data updates and other HR administration, where required.
- Review relevant Government Instruction Manuals and requirements and ensure that HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies and intranet pages are reviewed and updated in atimely manner to remain current and aligned with prevailing requirements.
- Review HR processes and workflows and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency, streamline ways of working and improve the employee experience.
- Maintain proper HR documentation and knowledge management records, ensuring that information is accurate,organised and kept up to date.
- Support departmental and organisation-wide initiatives and projects, including coordination,documentation, data collation, analysis and reporting and other implementation activities where required.
Requirements
- Relevant background in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field
- Preferably 1-3 years of relevant HR experience
- Meticulous with strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various levels
- Resourceful and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Prior experience in the public sector and/or familiarity with Workday would be anadvantage
