About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting professional to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance and banking activities for our Singapore entity. The role will involve working closely with auditors, consultants, banks and global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations, including sales invoices, purchase orders, proforma invoices, expense accounting and monthly book closure.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, financial records and supporting documentation. Oversee secretarial and statutory compliance
- Prepare and file quarterly GST returns and support statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors, company secretarial consultants and other professional advisors in Singapore and overseas.
- Process daily banking and payment transactions and ensure timely payments.
- Coordinate with banks for submission and processing of sales and trade-related documents.
- Support management with financial information, reports and other accounting requirements.
Candidate Profile:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting operations; Singapore accounting experience preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel and Xero.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, GST, taxation and statutory compliance.
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach with strong ownership and ability to work independently.
