Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated individual to contribute to the growth of policies and initiatives supporting women’s development. This role involves engaging in research, policy analysis, and event management, alongside supporting efforts in global gender equality projects and media engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on trends in women’s development, focusing on gender equality, social policies, and international rankings.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage on women’s rights and gender equality to identify key issues, challenges, and opportunities for action.
- Assist in organizing key events such as conferences, webinars, and workshops, including coordinating logistics, developing content, and engaging speakers.
- Prepare reports and briefings for international organizations, summarizing research findings and providing insights into the progress of gender equality.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including corporate partners, NGOs, and government agencies, to align policy initiatives and raise awareness of women’s issues.
- Provide administrative support for budgeting, scheduling, and managing resources for department activities and ad-hoc tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Social Sciences, Humanities, International Relations, Public Policy/Administration, or Communications.
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis tools.
- Solid writing skills for creating reports, speeches, and social media content related to women’s development.
- Passion for gender equality and a keen interest in women’s development issues.
