SAP MRO Functional Consultant

Role Summary: Responsible for implementing and supporting SAP Maintenance, Repair and Operations processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather maintenance and asset management requirements.

• Configure SAP Plant Maintenance processes.

• Design preventive and corrective maintenance workflows.

• Configure notifications, orders and task lists.

• Support equipment and functional location master data.

• Collaborate with inventory and procurement teams.

• Support integration with finance and supply chain.

• Perform testing and validation activities.

• Support maintenance data migration.

• Conduct training and knowledge transfer.

• Provide go-live and hypercare support.

• Recommend asset performance improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline, with 5-15 years of relevant SAP consulting experience; SAP certification(s) in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and/or SAP S/4HANA Asset Management are highly preferred.

• Proven experience in SAP Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) and Asset Management processes, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, breakdown maintenance, maintenance planning, notifications, work orders, task lists, and maintenance execution.

• Demonstrated participation in multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations, covering requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-production support.

• Strong understanding of asset management and maintenance business processes, including equipment management, functional locations, maintenance planning, reliability improvement, work management, and maintenance performance monitoring.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to support integration with Procurement, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, and Finance processes, ensuring end-to-end business process alignment.

• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, conduct user training, support testing and defect resolution, provide hypercare support, and recommend continuous process and asset performance improvements.
