Treasury Settlements (Maker) - Regional Corporate Bank

A regional bank is seeking a Treasury Settlements Officer to support the daily processing and settlement of treasury transactions across a range of products. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure transactions are settled accurately and within the required timelines.

Responsibilities

• Process treasury settlement transactions accurately and within the required cut-off times.
• Handle treasury products including FX, Money Market, Bonds/Securities, Repo, Forwards and Dual Currency Investments (DCI).
• Prepare settlement instructions and payment messages for checking and approval.
• Monitor transaction status and follow up on outstanding or failed settlements.
• Perform reconciliations and investigate settlement exceptions, discrepancies and operational issues.
• Support system enhancements, UAT, regulatory initiatives and process improvement projects when required.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in Treasury Operations or Treasury Settlements within a bank.
• Hands-on experience processing treasury products such as FX, Money Market, Repo, Securities or Fixed Income.
• Good understanding of SWIFT messages, payment instructions and settlement processes.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage high transaction volumes within strict cut-off times.
• Experience supporting treasury-related projects or UAT will be an advantage.
