Business Development Representative
About this job
Our client is a leading Multinational Technology company. This is a 12 month contract role.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive identification and qualification of high-value opportunities into the sales pipeline; own first-line relationship development with prospective high-value accounts across Vietnam and the Philippines
- Take a consultative approach: understand the prospect's business, goals, and challenges before recommending a solution
- Consistently hit pipeline quality and progression metrics, including inbound lead follow-up and outbound account engagement
- Manage territory creation plans with Account Executives; research key accounts, identify decision-makers, generate interest, and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
- Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop target accounts and inbound leads into sales-ready leads and opportunities
- Route prospects and existing customers to the right colleagues; nurture and educate under informed customers on relevant solution areas
- Set up, attend, and run qualification meetings with customers alongside Account Executives and Solution Consultants; maintain CRM, Outreach, and other tools to capture history and ensure smooth Account Executives hand-off
- Exceed monthly and quarterly qualified pipeline targets
- Provide closed-loop feedback for continuous process optimization
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2+ years' experience as a BDR or similar role, ideally supporting Southeast Asian markets
- Track record of business development success in enterprise software or tech sales
- Proven inbound/outbound sales skills; strong relationship-building across organizational levels
- Self-starter: motivated, resilient, and collaborative across sales and marketing to deliver pipeline goals
- Experienced across the full BDR process: account planning, pre-call prep, opportunity qualification, objection handling
- Track record hitting inside sales goals with accurate CRM data management
- Proficient with standard corporate tools (email, MS Office) and sales tools (SFDC, Dynamics, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Lusha, etc.)
- Strong communication: listening, written, verbal
- Should be fluent in Vietnamese or Tagalog language to liaise with stakeholders from Vietnam and Philippine markets.
