Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and delivering excellent customer service while ensuring efficient bar operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following company standards to ensure quality and consistency
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area to meet hygiene and safety standards
• Monitor bar inventory levels and replenish stock promptly to support uninterrupted service
• Verify customers' age to comply with responsible alcohol service regulations
• Process customer orders and payments accurately to ensure smooth transactions
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to coordinate efficient bar and restaurant operations
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols consistently
• Perform additional bar and service duties as assigned to support team needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender or in the food and beverage industry
• Knowledge of cocktail preparation, wines, spirits, and beverages
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
