Job Summary
The Director of Human Resources leads strategic HR initiatives focused on talent management, leadership development, succession planning, and capability building. This role partners with senior leaders to enhance organisational capability and ensure effective, people-centred HR practices aligned with goals.
Responsibilities
- Implement the Talent Management Framework by integrating talent management processes into the HR system and performance management to ensure sustainability and continuity
- Identify high-potential employees and develop structured development plans and succession initiatives to prepare future leaders
- Establish leadership development pathways to build a robust leadership pipeline across the organisation
- Design, launch, and manage a formal Mentorship Programme, monitoring its effectiveness through feedback, progress tracking, and evaluation
- Develop and facilitate cross-functional job rotation opportunities to broaden employee skill sets and organisational exposure
- Oversee all HR functions including talent acquisition, total rewards, employee relations, learning and development, and HR operations to support organisational goals
- Lead organisational change initiatives and influence executive-level stakeholders to drive HR strategy and adoption
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience including 3–5 years in senior leadership roles such as HR Director, Head of HR, or Senior HR Business Partner
- Proven experience leading multiple HR disciplines including talent acquisition, total rewards, employee relations, learning and development, and HR operations
- Demonstrated ability to lead organisational change and influence stakeholders at the executive level
