HR Director
About this job
The Director of Human Resources drive strategic HR initiatives with an immediate focus on talent management, leadership development, succession planning, and capability building across the organisation. The incumbent will partner closely with senior leadership and Heads of Department (HODs) to strengthen organisational capability, employee development, and leadership continuity while ensuring HR practices remain effective, people-centred, and aligned with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement Talent Management Framework and embed Talent Management Processes into the HR system and performance management framework to ensure sustainability and continuity.
- Identify and develop high-potential employees through structured development plans and succession planning initiatives.
- Establish leadership development pathways to strengthen the organisation’s leadership pipeline.
- Establish and manage a formal Mentorship Programme across the organisation. Monitor programme effectiveness through regular feedback, progress tracking, and evaluation.
- Design and facilitate cross-functional job rotation opportunities to broaden skill sets and expose high potential employees to different aspects of the organisation
- Oversee the full spectrum of HR for the organisation
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3–5 years in a senior leadership role (HR Director/Head of HR/Senior HRBP).
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple HR disciplines: talent acquisition, total rewards, employee relations, learning & development, and HR operations.
- Experience leading organizational change and influencing stakeholders at executive level.
