Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Partnerships team at TOUCH Community Services, a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering individuals and families in need. You will play a pivotal role in cultivating and managing relationships with key corporate and community partners, securing vital funding and resources to support TOUCH's crucial social service programmes.
Principal Responsibilities and Duties:
- Analyse funder priorities and craft clear, compelling, and well-structured grant proposals tailored to their requirements
- Manage the end-to-end grant application process, including timelines, submission documents, and stakeholder inputs
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate programme information into persuasive donor-facing narratives
- Develop reports and updates for funders, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and accountability
- Maintain accurate donor and grant records in the fundraising database/CRM
- Cultivate and manage relationships with existing and potential funders and partners
- Conduct research on potential to identify opportunities and build funding pipelines
- Assist with selected fundraising events or sponsorship activities, where relevant
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in any field, with a strong academic record
- 1-3 years of experience in grant writing, fundraising, communications or related role
- Excellent analytical and writing skills with the ability to craft clear, well-structured, and persuasive proposals
- Proven ability to manage projects independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of CRM or fundraising databases is an advantage
