Purchaser | Jurong | Up to $3,400 + AWS + VB

📍 Location: Jurong East (Company Transport from Westgate Taxi Stand)

🛠️ Job Responsibilities

• Source and negotiate with local and overseas suppliers based on company vendor list
• Ensure cost-effective procurement of quality products and services
• Accurately manage purchase orders using internal costing systems
• Prepare and submit monthly purchasing reports
• Maintain and grow the supplier and subcontractor database
• Handle documentation for delivery orders, permits, and ship repair-related work
• Coordinate with ship agents, subcontractors, and internal departments
• Support purchasing and quotation processes for ship supplies and spare parts
• Perform ad-hoc procurement and administrative duties as needed

✅ Requirements

• Diploma in any discipline
• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience (ship chandler background is a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills
• Able to work independently and manage tasks with attention to detail

🕒 Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Alternate Saturdays (Work From Home): 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
