Job Summary
The Accounts Receivable Executive is responsible for managing the company's receivables, ensuring timely collection of payments, maintaining accurate customer accounts, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and account statements to customers.
- Monitor customer accounts and chase/ follow up on outstanding payments.
- Perform accounts receivable aging analysis and debt collection activities.
- Reconcile customer payments against invoices and investigate discrepancies.
- Record and update customer payment transactions in the accounting system.
- Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports and collection summaries.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to resolve billing issues.
- Maintain accurate customer records and filing systems.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Support finance audits by providing required documentation and records.
